Class 2 - Digital Marketing Internship Program (December 24th)

In the second class of the internship program was focused on the communicating things better and after first assignment analysis and given feedback from our mentor Deepak sir, we know where we are lacking in our writing skills and can try better this time.

I had learn many things from Deepak sir as for starters before the start of every good thing, he took a  minute thanking almighty for all the good stuff for the day, also by attending most of his webinar I took his advice to analyze the whole day before going to bed marking your strength, weakness of the day, set targets for next day, formulate the strategy and most important to act. Because if you are in act means you are learning growing and evolving.

Learn> Do> Teach

When you teach ,you understand things in a better way because when you figure out the solution you had made effort to figure out what possible hurdles one can face starting that topic as fresh.in the process we can commit some mistakes but mistakes help us realize that there is some possibility left which can be prove to be beneficial in future but the value has yet to be realize at present.
What we learn can only be expressed for better communication.

The word “communication” is quite familiar to us, but we never try to understand it in detail. communication is more than simply the transmission of information from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs, symbols, and semiotic rules. A communication therefore has three parts:
  • 1.      the sender,
  • 2.      the message, and
  • 3.      the recipient.

The sender ‘encodes’ the message, usually in a mixture of words and non-verbal communication. It is transmitted in some way (for example, in speech or writing), and the recipient ‘decodes’ it.

Somewhere read that " Seller or A marketer or business owner gets so focused on WHAT they’re selling that they forget to think about TO WHOME they’re selling it to, through their different business marketing technique and marketing plan."

To rectify such communication error, to know the customer is very important, hence the concept of customer avatar came into play.

If everyone is your audience, then no one is your audience.

What is Avatar ?

Avatar is defined as manifestation, appearance, or incarnation. In terms of social media in today’s world, your Avatar is your identity. You choose to make your Avatar whatever you want it to be. It is what you project to others.
There are many people who have a different image online than in person. They allow other members of their social media communities to see them as an enhanced version of themselves. Of course, there is nothing wrong with putting your best foot forward and showing other people the best of what and who you are. We all try to do that. Sometimes people are no keenly aware that what they say and how they portray themselves online and in person does not necessarily have to be the same thing.
This not only ensures that it is useful for lifetime, but it also make sure that it gives various benefits to writing skill for email marketing and blogging. Whenever there is an introduction of new course, product in your selected niche, through proper interpersonal communication establishes a connection amongst your fellow audiences that help one in identify the need, problem and understand what is required as audience point of view.

So, the primary goal of avatar creation is to ensure successful communication with the fellow audiences to ensure awareness about your new idea or any update about your existing product in your niche.

When you get clear on the characteristics of the person who is going to buy your products and services, it’s a lot easier to find and present them with a message that moves them to action.

Customer Avatars: What to Include

There are 5 major components to a customer avatar:(Demographic & Psychographic trades)
  • Goals and Values
  • Sources of Information
  • Demographic Information
  • Challenges and Pain Points
  • Objections and Roles

Simple steps to follow the avatar creation
  • Write to single customer at a time.
  • Connect with them 1:1 through communicating medium.
  • Join the mental conversation with Audiences.

Our motto should be audiences to read the headlines> to first sentence> then second then third ultimately to last sentences. This can be achieve by the focus on center of an idea not on broader  perspective. People now days has so much distraction and lack of focus that if they find anything more interesting switch to new content and as a digital marketer such distraction is more harmful then the drugs.

Importance of Avatar Creation

For example avatar creation helps:-
  • Content Marketing: Knowing your avatar helps you decide what blog posts, videos, podcasts, Lead Magnets, etc. you should create to attract more leads and customers
  • Paid Traffic: Knowing your avatar helps you discover which ad platforms you should buy traffic from—and what targeting options you should use
  • Product Creation: Knowing your avatar will help you create a product that your customer NEEDS
  • Copywriting: Knowing your avatar helps you describe your offers in a way that speaks to your avatar’s problems and compels them to want to buy
  • Email Marketing: Knowing your avatar helps you get more open rates and better conversion rates on your emails…and can even be used to segment specific email marketing campaigns to different avatars
In some cases, you’ll need to survey and actually talk with your existing customers to figure out who your customer avatar is and what they need from you.
