Tips and Tricks while using the internet (Part 2)

Awareness will give security

The only way to use the Internet safely is to use your common sense and a little awareness.

  • Secure your internet media account with a strong password and create a different password on every platform. Take advantage of the additional security two-factor authentication (two-factor authentication) offered by some Internet companies.
  • Phishing scammers send a large number of fraudulent messages so that they can get your personal information, passwords, etc. An e-mail website may be legitimate to view, but check the e-mail headers for additional information about its truth and its source.
  • Do not blindly trust every new or unexpected email to avoid Internet fraud. Keep an eye on browser cookies to keep data secure as these cookies pass on your information to other sites. Privacy tools keep a close watch on cookies.
  • Use the security features of the browser. Make sure to pay attention to the URL of any website. The URL of secure sites starts with https. The English letter S here means that the website is secure. If you see the only http, then avoid these websites.
  • Do not click on an advertisement that gives information about viruses on mobile or computer. Hackers use such advertisements to make people their prey.
